Overview

Fotofoto is a photography service in the form of a website and application. FotoPhoto provides two opportunities for the community, namely to get the services of a photographer (customer) and to become a photographer (partner). Through Fotofoto, customers can get photography services according to their wishes, such as determining schedules, selecting locations, and taking photo packages, as well as enabling customers to get a photographer in the nearest future. Apart from that, users can also become a partner of FotoFoto as a photographer to earn income.ecently:

Context & Problem

Context & Problem

The results of the research that I did by conducting brief interviews with the company (client) / searching for information on group forums on the internet and looking at several reviews of photographer booking applications / stated that there were several problems that people experienced:

  1. Client Wants Media Application that aims to bring together photographers and photo orderrs.

  2. Ordering photographers is quite difficult because most photographers only use Instagram, so the ordering process is completely done manually.

  3. Beginner photographers find it difficult to develop and get a lot of clients.

  4. Photographers cannot know the skill (specialization) of the photographer.

  5. The photo order cannot get the closest photographer when they want to order and immediately do a photo session in a day.

It is very important to understand both parties (the photo shoot booker and the photographer) to better understand their problem and devise a solution that meets the needs of both of them. Because more than 90% of photo orders use Instagram and WhatsApp, it's only natural to design an application that will help in ordering photos quickly.

Defining a clear problem statement helps narrow the scope and funnels ideas to create user flow. It also includes inspiration from existing similar apps and builds on what I learned during research, to find solutions to the problems mentioned. Understanding users (bookers of photo shoots on the one hand, and Photographers on the other) and the underlying constraints caused by the current system determines how we select the basic features needed to address these issues.

NOTE : Following the course project guidelines, onboarding is not part of the design phase but some thought was put into it to ensure the user flow covers all aspects of the solution.

Make &Test

Make &Test

Make &Test

The main decision is to build mobile-based applications and websites. The first phase consists of creating a wireframe of the screen defined in a low-fidelity user flow that can be tested by a panel of Customers (photo-orderers) and Photographers.

After the second phase builds high fidelity while testing based on the features that have been formulated before.

at this time user feedback is needed to find out what other requirements need to be implemented in the application, and to answer that in this phase I added the following features:

1. It is necessary to monitor checkpoints in the order history
2. There is a room session (time countdown) status to find out that the session process is in progress.
3. Offering methods for additional time on photo sessions for customers.
4. Scan barcode method to verify that the photographer ordered is correct
5. etc

we need to know users are bound to grow and users may get frustrated with features they used to love. Finding ways to continually collect new data and feedback is critical.
